Dinamo bring Tamaş back home
Back
Defender Gabriel Tamaş has joined international colleague Marius Niculae in returning to FC Dinamo 1948 Bucureşti as they prepare for UEFA Cup action.

Loan spell
Capped 36 times, the central defender has rejoined the club he played for between 2002 and 2006 on a one-year loan from AJ Auxerre, with Dinamo having the first option to sign him on a permanent basis in 2009. The 24-year-old Tamaş first came to Dinamo from FC Tractorul Brasov in 2002 but left to join FC Spartak Moskva before playing for RC Celta de Vigo and then Auxerre. A member of Romania's UEFA EURO 2008™ squad, Tamaş has not played in any of Auxerre's pre-season friendlies. In Bucharest, he will link up with Niculae who followed up his trip to Austria and Switzerland by signing for Dinamo after a spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC. Dinamo will learn their UEFA Cup first round opponents on Friday 29 August in Monaco.
